RANGLEELA
Rang Leela at Vedic Village Spa Resort promises the ultimate Holi celebration in Kolkata—bigger, bolder, and more vibrant than ever before. At Vedic Village Spa Resort, we honour the International Day of Yoga every 21st June at The Vedic Wellness, our serene space dedicated to holistic health. Nestled on the tranquil outskirts of Kolkata, the resort offers a refreshing escape from the city’s daily grind. Designed as a haven for both relaxation and rejuvenation, Vedic Village combines an international wellness spa, organic living practices, and thoughtful leisure experiences for all age groups. Our annual yoga celebration brings together guests and in-house teams in a shared commitment to mindfulness, health and inner balance, creating not just awareness but a way of life.
CAKE MIXING
Each year, as the festive spirit begins to stir, Vedic Village Spa Resort comes alive with the warmth and cheer of its much-loved Cake Mixing Ceremony. What begins as a pre-Christmas tradition quickly turns into a heartwarming celebration of togetherness. Specially-abled children from the Artemis Foundation join hands with socialites, bloggers, influencers, and our hotel team, their smiles as bright as the season itself. A few years ago, the joy was shared with spirited young guests from the Children in Need Institute, making the day even more meaningful. With laughter in the air and music playing, over 125 kg of dry fruits—almonds, cashews, raisins, walnuts—are lovingly mixed with 25 litres of honey, red wine, rum, melted butter, golden syrup, and cream. It’s more than just a ritual, it’s a shared memory in the making, a sweet beginning to the season of giving.
O' Clock Adios
Every year on 31st December, Vedic Village Spa Resort comes alive with 0' Clock Adios—our signature New Year’s Eve celebration that bids farewell to the past and welcomes the year ahead in unforgettable style. Guests gather for a night filled with joy, laughter, and vibrant energy, enjoying a lavish gala buffet, unlimited liquor, live music, dazzling dance performances, and an atmosphere that’s both festive and heartwarming. It’s an evening where great food, lively entertainment, and cheerful company come together to create lasting memories, all celebrated the Vedic Village way.
