Terms & Conditions

Arrival

  • Check-in will be allowed only on submission of the original confirmation voucher.
  • Confirmation Voucher is nontransferable and is valid only if signed by the concerned authority.
  • The room will not be retained beyond 8:00 PM in case of late check-in unless informed to the reservation department at +91 33 6622 9900 or by email at [email protected] regarding late arrival.
  • Photo ID proofs for the Guests are mandatory. The same needs to be shown at the time of the security check at the resort.
  • Check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM
  • Early check-in charges as:
    • early check-in at 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, subject to availability at Rs. 2,000 per room
    • early check-in at 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM, subject to availability at Rs. 4,000 per room
    • early check-in before 7:00 AM, is subject to availability at full day charge per room

Departure

  • 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM - 25% of the room tariff.
  • 3:00 PM onwards full day charge of the room tariff.
  • On failure of the Guest to vacate the room on expiry of the check-out time mentioned in the confirmation voucher, Management shall have the right to remove the Guest and his/her belongings from the assigned room/s.
  • Bills must be settled on presentation by cash or credit card. In case of bills to the company, Guest needs to sign the bills. Personal cheques will not be accepted.
  • The Management will not in any way whatsoever be responsible for any loss and/or damage to Guests' belongings or any other property from either the room or locker, or any other part of the hotel for any cause whatsoever, including theft or pilferage.

Cancellation

  • Any other days: Rescheduling before 48 hours of check-in date and time can be rescheduled to a later date and can be used within 30 days.
  • Rescheduling within 48 hours of check-in date and time: Full night retention will be charged.
  • In case of a no-show: no refund for the entire booking.
  • Exceptions would only be made if there is any case of Covid or medical illness, lockdown and any other force majeure situation.
  • On premium dates like Durga Puja / Christmas week / 31-Dec / event dates, the cancellation policy remains non-cancellable and non-refundable.

Management

  • The Management can change any or all of the above Terms & Conditions at any time at its sole discretion without any prior notice.
  • The resort is pet-friendly, but pets are only allowed if the Guest has booked a 2BR or a 3BR Bungalow, and are not allowed in public areas or in hotel rooms.
  • All disputes, differences or questions arising out of this transaction shall be settled by arbitration as per the provision of Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, and the venue of such arbitration shall be at Kolkata only.
  • In respect of the arbitration proceedings initiated pursuant to the transaction envisaged herein and in respect of all matters pertaining to this transaction only. The Civil Courts in Kolkata City shall have jurisdiction to the exclusion of all other courts.
  • Not with standing anything stated above Vedic Village Spa Resort shall not incur any liability to the Guest if it is not in a position to fulfil its obligation by reason of any war, civil commotion, force majeure, act of God or any notification or order of any court of law or government or the local body(s).
